Opening up your heart to love

Updated: Nov 18, 2020

Opening up your heart to love

After divorce it can feel really hard to open up your heart again. This is absolutely normal, expected and actually healthy.

Divorce is a form of grief and you will need time to process the loss of a love, a marriage, a life, hopes, dreams and plans.

This will take some time.

But I promise, you will find love again. Your heart will heal and you will know more now.

More about yourself, about your needs, about partnership, about your heart and about love.

This is the amazing thing about life, love and healing. Our hearts have an incredible capacity to find, accept and give love.

In fact, it’s infinite.

And just when your heart feels cracked and broken beyond repair, there will be a tiny light inside that shines and grows. And a love better than you could imagine will walk in when you least expect it.

We don’t control when love arrives. And I’m not one to ever stop the power of love because of some time frame. But allow your heart time to heal if you can and don’t worry if it doesn’t show up right away, that can actually be a good thing.

If you have the time, embrace it and take that moment to work on your heart. Figure out who you are now, where you are in your life and how you want love to show up for you. Get crystal clear inside about what you want love to look like next.

Then be patient and have faith. I promise, the universe will deliver. It always does.

And when your heart opens up again, it will be better than you could have imagined.

That’s love. 💗
